2004 xA: Temperature blinking and P0128 code
Hello all,
I have a little problem with my xA: two weeks ago, the red temperature light started to blink after a few miles. I checked the coolant level and topped off the radiator and the plastic reservoir. On the next trips, everything was fine. Now, it started blinking again after a few miles and the CEL is on giving a P0128 code. I checked the coolant level and it is almost full, I just added like a cup. There is no evidence of a leak that I can see and I also noticed that the fan starts very early, like after two or three minutes. What could be the problem? Thanks. |
P0128 code is for the Coolant Themostat. The Themostat either needs to be replaced or Coolant Temp. sensor is bad

Yes, but can it be caused by the pump not working properly or the level of coolant being too low because of a leak?
