2006 xB TRD intake filter, Help..

OK, so don't know much about fixing cars, but my friend is fixing my 06 xB. Trying to replace the filter, but can't find one that's the right size.
Also want to replace this (see pic) but don't know what it is. haha, any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Everything you need to know is right here... The Wonderful World of Intakes

AEM made the intakes for TRD and they were re-branded. The piece in your picture is the 'bypass valve', it would allow the intake to still pull in air even if the filter element was submerged in water and was more a 'failsafe' than anything.

Full list of parts can be found here on p. 2: AEM Intake Instructions That will show you part numbers for the air filter and bypass valve and you hunt down replacements are your vendor of choice.

Yeah, we figured it out and ordered it yesterday. Thanks though, I appreciate it. I ordered the bypass valve and a new filter. With shipping, it was about $100. Is that a decent price?

Better than the prices I saw on AEM's website...I think the two items came to $120 before any shipping.
