Anyone put a 2zz engine and tranny out of a corolla?

 

not that i know of, im gonna be one of the first to tell you that everyone talks about it, and up untill now, i have not actually seen one. best of luck if you have can do it, but prepare to have flamers. also everyone is going to tell you to use the search function

 

I did a search and nothing came up. Just checking to see if someone is trying for more HP NA.

 

yea, like i said, many people have come up here, and there are a bunch of swap threds, just i havnt read one were the swap has actually been done. i heard someone has the gts engine in an xB, but i dont know, and im probably wrong on the engine. other than that its all spook stories, no one has proof. (if they do i dont know about it)

 

I agree people talk about engine swaps all the time but nobody has done it. I think an engine swap might be coming pretty soon.

 

hmm I dont know, i like the gas mileage on our xb's. It would defeat the whole purpose in swapping the engines out since XB's werent even meant for racing. I agree that theres not much power in these cars but a turbo would be cool to deal with
