i got mine their too. good bunch of guys. i think you'll like it. not loud...but deep and throaty when you hit the throttle.
btw-if you check the website, when you click "JDM" and hit click the bottom selection, the car that pops out in the background is me! :P |
I bought one from ScionVan and had Stylis install it for me. Since it's only the back-half, Stylis built a 2.25 piping and a longer high-flow resinator from the cat back to the 5Zigen rear section exhaust.
It has a Deep Throaty sound just like the JIC but not as loud on a wide open throttle. On Freeway driving, it's loudest when cruizing around 3k RPM on 5th gear but still not as loud as I thought which what I wanted. I notice a slight increase in Torque and HP because the box feels faster when accelarating on a wide open throttle. Overall I like it except for: The muffler will be the first to scrape when going up on a steep angled driveways. |
you know, if you are not ready for a 5zigen exhaust. Maybe you should look into just a muffler and a tip? Perhaps a magnaflow muffler and a seperated tip.
