Default check engine;trac off and vsc lights came on w/ k&n CAI

I know this was an old subject i read back in mid 2006 where someone installed a cai on an xb and codes shot out at them. My question is, was the problem with k&n's typhoon cai having the maf sensor to close to the throttle body or was it completely something different? The pwm sensor (the vacuum box that mounts to the supplied hardware in k&n's cai is different from the picture in the instructions that came with the cai. The instructions i noticed said 2003-2005. Maybe the problem is this system they sent me (autoanything) isn't compatible with the 2006 xb's all together? What ya'll think, PLEASE ANYONE, SOMEONE, EVERYONE!!!!????

2006's have a charcoal box in a different area. That is why there is no CARB compliant CAI for the 06 box. Make sure all the connections are tight---and good luck..........

make sure there is no leak at the MAF sensor.
make sure you clean the intake inside and out before install ( per instructions)
clean the MAF before re-install
re-set the ECU ( should be done from battery removal)
let it sit , running, in your driveway for 10 ( ten) minutes while the ecu corrects itself.
mine did the same thing and this is what fixed mine ( of course mine is a '04 and the intake wasn't meant for an '06 ( per CARB)

Hey thanks old yeller and frogbox! I decided to pull the code using an obd 2 scanner and found out the computer was telling me the vehicle is running too lean. Anyone have ideas bout dat one? I will check and see if the codes come up again after resetting the ecu and letting it sit for ten minutes to adjust itself. talk to ya soon.
