EBAY header install and review
Just installed my header today. Took my about 2 hours start to finish using a lift, hand tools, and 15 minutes to source bolts and nuts at my disposal to replace the spring bolts. Very simple and straight forward to remove and install, one of the easiest to do out of several vehicles that I have swapped headers on, my LS1 trans am being THE most difficult taking two days to do in a driveway.
Overall 4.5 out of 5 for price, performance, and quality versus the first two. Collector quality was kinda low but overall very pleased for 70 bucks. Bought the 4-1 header from a company called speed daddy, second purchase and very pleased with them. Came with now manifold gasket and reused my donut gasket. Noticeable increase mid to top end with very good response. This coupled with my 1zz TB and CAI has really added some go. Pulls easily up to 40 in city driving with 1/4 throttle or less, wouldve taken twice as much throttle to get to 40 within the same driving conditions before the mods.
Gives the engine a decent growl with my intake setup, engine actually sounds bigger then what it is, can't wait for my exhaust.
