Default exhaust....

I have an '04 xA and I am looking for exhaust for it, the only problem is i have an automatic(yeah, it sucks.) and i was wondering if anyone had suggestions for decent set up that doesn't sound crappy with the automaticness my car has. I'm not looking for some loud ricey sound, so if ya'll could give me some suggestions that would be awesome, thanks....

Wahoo! Another Louisiana Scion owner! Represent!
I am not sure what is going to sound good, but I can tell you the set up I am planning on.
I am planning on cutting off my stock muffler and muffler tip. I will then use the muffler tip and weld into onto the new muffler. Then attach the new muffler to the exhaust piping. The new muffler will be a Cherry Bomb extreme. I am doing this because I want a stock look with an aftermarket sound. I don't like the fart can look.

straight pipe on a 1.5 = i sound like evry 89 civic hatch

I would go TRD. Pretty deep sounding for our cars, doesent drone on the highway, and doesent look like a ricer exhaust hangin under your bumper...

see....

...the only thing that sucks is cleaning up the tip, but all you really need is some steel wool and some mothers.

^^^^ I agree. I just got my Strup put on and love it. Sound is low and smooth, not ricey.
