Default front wheel bearings

Hey all I have an 05 with 108k on the clock. I'm about to order up some wheel bearings. I'm wondering if each hub takes one or 2 bearings? Im about to pick up a press!! does any one have an exploded view or a diy pictorial of the hub by chance?

I just had one replaced at 63,000 miles and I believe it is just one in each wheel.

Remember , bearing to steering knuckle then hub to bearing.

They press in from opposite directions.

Don't forget to pull the cir-clip ( you should replace it anyway while in there.)

If you use a slide hammer to pull the hub first it, before removing the steering knuckle, will make it easier. Just bolt it to your lug studs.

Have fun , been there, done that. Took about 4 hours total time from parking to driving.

Don't all hubs have an inner and outer bearing race to support the hub on the axle? My motorcycles and boat trailer do, and so does my Subaru Forester. So I assume my xB does, too. So that would be an inner and outer bearing, a set of two bearings, for each hub.

1 ( one) bearing per side. They are sealed so everything is internal.
And inside they are BALL BEARINGS not the roller bearings we are use to.
