Default Header Installation

Hello about to get my xA 2005 in a few days and was wondering, I am a complete novice when it comes to car moding or working on cars in general besides changing oil etc. I want to install a K&N Typhoon Short Ram and maybe the Megan headers I was wondering would these prove to be difficult since I have pretty much no idea what I am doing ( hoping they come with detailed instructions) or should I wait and find help?

Thanks!

The intake should be easy. Undo a few bolts, use some elbow greese & the old parts would come out. Then install the new ones & good to go. Now it is more detailed then that, but its not a hard thing to do. Now the header, that takes a little more time & tools needed to do it right. Might want to look around & see if another scion owner lives near you that would be willing to help with the install, or just some car buddy you might have

I just did a short ram on my wifes xA, just follow the instructions from K&N and you cannot go wrong. Its really easy to do.
The header.. like said above, bit more tools required and work to be done, its not a fun task for someone that has not done it before.

If you want to drive to Jersey I'll do it for you for a six pack and a pizza-

Its a lot easier than most people think, but like they said, you have to have the right tools-

Default Hmmm...

Well, Jeresy from Madison WI is a pretty far drive and with school starting again in a few weeks and new job starting in a few days I don't have tons of time I wish I could though. I need to finish school so I get get a real job and start taking sick days! cause thats what life is all about, the sick days! Nothing and I mean nothing is better than getting paid for doing nothing. Anyways if any of you ever find your selves in Downtown Madison WI look for a Polar White xA and we can go grab some Q'Doba, which is 100x better than pizza, AND the 6 pack.
