Help! xA losing power and sputtering..

Hey y'all new to this site. About 2 months ago I was taking my xA to the grocery store to get a few things and on my way back I needed gas. I couldn't get it my usual store and had to go somewhere else. Well, after I got my gas I headed back home and the car started losing power sounding like it was going to go dead, sputtering and skipping. I've talked to a few people and heard it could be the Cold air intake sucking excess air, O2 sensor, or the MAF sensor. I tightened up the Cold air intake and noticed that it idles better, but it still sputtering around 10-20 mph with a little bit of lag. Can someone help me figure out the problem so this doesn't wind up costing a lot of money on. A little strapped for cash at the moment.

1. Bad gas?
2. Loose air hose?
If you changed the air filter, double-check all the hoses from the filter holder to everything else.
On my xA the hose going back from the filter (towards the firewall) often comes loose even changing the filter (although service manual does say to disconnect it when doing that).
3. Sparks
When was the last time you changed them?

Toyota installed the Cold air intake about a month before this happened, but it ran just fine up until I got that gas from that other station. That's what leads me to believe that it might be the gas, but I've heard so much about the O2 and MAF sensors I'm just not sure, and don't want it to get any worse

Has it thrown any codes turning on your CEL? What happens when you get past the 10-20 mph where it sputters?

Not really sure what you mean by codes on CEL. I'm not much of a mechanic (yet) But after the little spell @ 10-20 mph be it levels out a little better but still kinda sluggish at times and don't sound right.

CEL = Check Engine Light. You can get a Code Reader at Walmart for $20.
