hey gnar-de-gwar:
I read your profile thingy, you said you wanted a lightened flywheel for quicker revs, you should also consier a lighter crank pulley, i got one on my "speed demon", and it made a huge difference. You should consider it before the flywheel, cause its easier to do.

I too bought an e-pac on e-bay and like the blue light glow under the hood, also paid $39 and it is nothing but a capacitor, but it does work, dont know the life on these things, but you shouldnt pay anymore than $40 for one, just make sure it is for real and not a ripoff

i think the reason people shoot these down is people say they gain hp...what is really happening is a stabilizing effect ..it does help.

reminds me of an internet booster for high speed internet, it doesnt make it faster it just has better regulation of incoming and outgoing packets of info.....these sound a lot like that

sounds good to me, not like it hurts anything and if it helps...why not. It does make sense it might stabilize when an a/c comes on and such, power fluctuations and such like that.

I wouldnt spend 200 bucks on it, but doing a simple version would be appealing to me.

I agree, it doesnt give the HP, it does as it is suppose to and that is regulate your electrical, so that your battery is not working OT. I like mine as well, just wonder what the lifespan on these things are, do you know?

If you want to be cheap, just upgrade the big 3 wires using 4 gauge or bigger. Battery to Chassis. Battery to Alternator. Battery to Engine Block

The voltage stabilizers do add HP and TQ. We dynoed one on a Eclipse turbo and it made 26whp. We also dyoned one on a B16 Honda and it made 16whp. These are the only things that we added on back to back dyno runs. The dyno doesnt lie.

Not sure how well this stuff really works, but if you're looking for a deal, search on e-bay for "voltage stabalizers". There is a JDM TRD stabalizer for like $35 and an HKS stabalizer and grounding kit set for $25.
