Default New Pulleys

Just got a set of NST pulleys for the alternator and water pump ordered. Already have the crank pulley installed. They said 4-6 weeks, I'll post pics and a review after install. Crossing fingers on the new ones.

They're the lightweight ones, for all three, keeping OEM Belts. Got the email with the tracking number this morning! They should be here this week. So much for the 4-6 week wait for special order! Awesome!

Interesting.
I didn't realize NST was making a lightened water pump pulley for the 1st gens til just now. I knew they did an alt pulley and I have their crank pulley. Any pics? If installed, any noticeable differences?

I bought an OBX Underdrive Crank Pulley for my '06 XB, but one of the shops told me that since the part doesn't have a harmonic balancer it can effect and strain other parts of the engine unless you build a motor and balance everything together. How true is this? If it is, are there other brands that won't cause this problem?

ive heard of that problem with under/over drive pullys, thats why a lot of people prefer the lightweight

Sure thing. The grey one is sorta bleh looking but no big deal.
I am not sure if they are gonna make anymore...vendor told me they were not coming out with anymore and NST said in January.
Sorta surprised it does not have the NST engraving in their water pump pulleys, too.

I also found a vendor discount code and got it for 75 dollars shipped so no complaints.

PM for the code if anyone wants it.

Hopefully it will still work....

It is drop shipped from NST anyway...
