Default O2 Sensor and Catalytic

Sorry, I’ve had lots of questions, never had a car before where I could get codes and most of them where much simpler than this Scion.

Had the misfire issues earlier and that seems to be fixed, thanks for all the help on that! Earlier it also had the P0138 code High Voltage O2 Sensor.
I drove it to work yesterday about 80 mile round trip and it ran fine. Checked codes today and it still has the P0138 but also has P0420 Catalytic system Below Threshold.

So would the best option be to replace the O2 Sensor?

Well they do all fail after quite a few miles. Usually the hotter one fails first - nearest the engine - the one after the cat converter goes longer

ok thank you, I was leaning towards replacing them and hoping it’s not the catalytic converter, but if it needs replaced I guess it needs replacing.

If you do end up needing to replace the cat it's less expensive to buy the 'mid-pipe' and high-flow cat available from Magnaflow...part number 448262.

Ok thank you, I was looking at some catalytic converters yesterday just in case.
