Alright, so i went to MotorFX to buy Coi's Carbon Fiber muffler. I'd first like to say that it sounds beautiful and deep, a little louder than the DC exhaust. It has set off an alarm but i'm sure they had their sensitivity wayyy to high. If anyone is looking to buy good products, definently consider Motor FX in Sante Fe Springs CA, he certainly knows how to hook you up
The carbon fiber muffler also came with a silencer, for those of you who prefer the stock sound but aftermarket look. All of these pics are with the silencer off, here they are:

Once again thanks to Coi from MotoFX, hes a sponsored seller on SL, so you should see him around quite a bit.

Yeah, it is, if you like a louder muffler instead of an expensive exhaust set up, this is for you. It doesn't sound like a golf ball rattling around a coffee can, so basically you won't sound like a painted hood civic
I have an automatic so i'm not sure what it would sound on stick. I really would recommend it to anyone who wants to go the muffler route instead of an axleback or catback. There are no performance improvements but it was worth everything i paid for it, and more.

basically, when the silencer is off it sounds like stock, but when you accelerate you can slightly hear the low octaves. I have mine off so i can get more looks from the normal passerby

Yeah thats why i like this muffler, because if a cop ever decided to say it's to loud, i'm going to try and trick him and say "I have the silencer in the trunk, i'm just going home to install it."

A few newb questions:
Will that fit an xA?
Around how much is installation?
Is it easy put the stock muffler back on if I didn't like this one?
How do you install the silencer? Do you just pop it in and out?
I'm also worried about ground clearance...is your xB lowered any?
thanks!

It was welded on, so in order to put the stock muffler back on you would need to cut the new muffler and re-install the other;
The silencer install is simple, it only takes an allen wrench, you basically pop it in and screw it tightly
About ground clearance; i'm not lowered and i have atleast 4 inches to the ground.
