This won't work cuz at the most, a few have been lucky enough to get 2 different intakes. I myself have an aem and injen but everyone will just post what ever they are running. If I could I'd buy all of em and try it out, no dyno, I would. Then I could answer this.

I haven't driven the Blitz or the Injen, but I've logged a lot of miles both with the SPFR and the AEM. Between the two, the SPFR dominates.
I like the fact that Jon made it 3" so it's easy to replace the filter, and it was very cost effective compared to the other brands.
Jon's work is top notch, and I've been very happy with mine. The power gains on the highway at high speeds are where I've noticed it the most!

1- Power/Performance

10 out of 10 on performance, I've driven cars with the AEM and Injen and to me it feels faster.

2- Ease of Installation

8 out of 10, super simple install, and great fitament.

3- Looks

4 out of 10 - hey i'll be honest it's plastic and not as shiny and spiffy as the others, but as there is a functional reason behind it, i don't mind at all - plus it's way more stealth if the cops are looking for mods... and the blue pearsol is nice as well.

4- Pricing

You can't really rate that 1-10 but I think it's reasonable for the performance boost you get, and the quallity of the unit.

and shopajoe - i think it's a poll from personal experience - so if you've ever ran the injen, or aem give us your opinion on the 4 criteria!

hopefully, a magazine can get on this and test all the intakes. that would be the only way to really know. you can also add e.l. prototypes to the intake department.

im going to go with the SPFR one. it makes sense to use plastic since it wont absorb the heat.

I hear that the SPFR intake is made of plastic. I'm not so sure that this is an advantage while moving at speed. I would imagine that in a dyno test with no air flowing through the engine compartment that the air could be colder in a plastic pipe, but when driving at speed it should not be much of any advantage. The intake for the SPFR and the Injen is essentially in front of the engine off to the side. This area gets a heavy dose of cold air for the intake filter and the intake pipe while driving at speed. After driving with an Ingen intake on the freeway, the aluminim intake pipe is quite cold. This cold intake pipe would only act to maintain the intake air as being cold.

The Injen is a super clean, good looking design. The manifold is so short with only two mild ~30 degree turns, so the flow restriction should be virtually nil. The design could be improved a bit to allow for more "wiggle room" where the intake manifold attaches to the body. But, at $125, I'm not complaining........
