Siphoning gas tank?
 

Has anyone figured out a way to siphon gas out of their xB. I've tried various sized hoses and nothing goes through. There is one sharp corner on the route into the tank, but I don't think that is causing the problem. Maybe there is a pre-filter or something. I'd really appreciate any insight anyone has. I've converted my xB into a camping rig and carry a small gas generator to charge batteries on extended stays. Seems crazy to carry a gas can when I have a whole tank to draw from.

Probably not gonna be able to make all the bends to the tank, plus it appears to enter mid level in tank.

Hmmm...hopefully someone has a better idea than this. I'm thinking that if I could somehow get a thin hose to the gas, I could just leave it inside the gas cap and then connect to that with another hose to do the actual siphoning. I think that would work assuming I could get the first hose to the tank. I've not had luck so far but, then again, I wasn't thinking I only had to do it once. I was instead thinking that even if I did make it into the tank, I didn't want to go through a difficult process each time I needed gas. Any other ideas?
