I've heard mixed reviews about both of them. Biggerst complaint about DC- is that it loses its sound quality once some miles are put on it

negatives about Strup- It's loud.

ya but you could always buy a silencer to tone it down a bit

true. There are available universal silencers on eBay. Look for 4" silencers. Only bad part about that, is that you'll need to drill a hole into the tail pipe.

Default exhaust

My box came with the DC Sport. I now have 30k miles on it with no problems. I am using the larger of the 2 inserts. Gives it a good tone without being loud. It doesn't have that "Mccullah in a tomato can sound" like I hear on a lot of the imports in town.

I'd go with Strup. Price is a little lower and it seems to hold up pretty well. My friend has a DC Sports exhaust on his Civic, and it hasn't held up that well. At any rate, i'd still say the Strup Axleback is pretty much the best exhaust you can put on your 'box.

I have the DC Sports axleback, and I would say to go with the Strup, I am running no silencer with an injen sri, and it gives a nice sound, but nothing like I want, I prefer loud n throaty, DC gives u somewhat loud and sorta throaty, and it is not holing up to well to the elments i have pits and rust already, and i is just over a year old

I have the Strup header and exhaust, it is loud and since I put a lot of $$ in my sound system I would rather hear music than the exhaust note. I use a DC Sports 4" silencer on my Strup exhaust when I want it to be quiet and take the silencer off when I want it to look good and don't care about the exhaust noise, basically when I go to meets.
