switched from redline MT-90 to Eneos gear oil
I have to say the Eneos gear oil works so much better in cold weather shifting!
its been like 10 degrees here on Boston and the MT-90 was killing me in early mornings shifts.
the Eneos is ready to go by the time i have my seatbelt on and ipod hooked up.
I would definitely recommend the manual tranny oil swap to anyone.
i drove with the MT 90 from about 12k till 23k.
i'm driving a 06 xa rs 3.0 with 23k

Thats what im using from now on out! I had Mobil 1 in it for 16k miles and had shifting problems, so i drained it and caught it in a big Dr. Pepper bottle. Long story short, everyone thought it was Dr.Pepper! Moral: Mobil 1 sucks!! ENEOS FTW!!!!

i have to say the difference between mt 90 and eneos is night and day.
This morning it was damn cold out here in boston and no problems! no thick feeling shifter or notchy shifts. super smooth and effortless.
It makes the econobox tranny on the Xa feel pretty damn nice!
i highly recommend switching to eneos if you are in cold weather climates, you'll thank yourself!
ps- i got my oil from swervemotorsports.com
