The engine has cp pistons, crower rods, toga bearings and yariscup valves and springs

I understand what your saying + not trying to be a wise guy. I love all cars + pics. But their are rules + have seen many things moved/closed by the Admin/Moderator. Does that mean anybody with a car or any turbo can post in our "Scion" specific blog? There are other sites for that + maybe this should have been posted in "Off topic forum". Have a nice day.

i know what your saying but this is basically a 1nzfe forced induction thread. the car that its in really doesnt matter. i think it is well suited here but then again im not a mod. i wish i could do this to my xb but time and funds dont allow it!

i drive a built yaris sedan and i figured that although we're sharing the same 1nzfe engine but since this thread is about scions hence i didn't post up my build here.

I think it is fine that a Yaris owner posts, I mean let's be realistic... The xB xA forced induction forum is not hopping lately. I post on the Yaris forums and I don't own a Yaris.

well if we dont stay on topic this thread might not last long at all so what kinda reliability does this setup have? do you have any other future plans to pair with these mods to make more power or reliability?

Both cars have the same heart. the car was tuned for reliability and on 95 octane rather than power by a reputable and good tuning shop. I am not planning to max out what the stock head bolts and stock sleeves are capable of but.
For now i am using low boost (0,9 bar) around 168whp in order to learn the car. later i am considering to achieve around 220whp.

The dyno is low reading

not bad, i just think the intercooler makes it a little too conspicuous for my taste though.

hi paris, i would suggest that you go with a GT2560 turbo if you want to break the 200 whp barrier and yet not increase too much of the intake temp by going too high of a boost with your current turbo

Nice video

To be really frank it really depends on the horsepower you want to make. I've had friends whose using the the GT2560 and some GT2871 and they both had great results with both the turbos.
