OBX Turbo Mnaifold

well...

on the way back from florida yesterday, my exhaust manifold cracked...and i had to drive 700 miles with the worst exhaust leak ever.

The worst problem is that the manifold is cast and i cant repair it :(
If it was stainless at least i could reweld the peice.

...so here is what i found :)

so you cant reweld a manifold that has been casted? but yea i remember seeing this on ebay......it maybe OBX but that manifold looks hella good :P

bfurches 10-15-2007 09:45 AM

there are ways of repatching cast, but none are worth it imo.

Simplyscion 10-15-2007 02:10 PM

BURBERRYXA05 10-15-2007 08:26 PM

how bad is the crack

EasysBox 10-16-2007 12:51 AM

it may be a T3 manifold, but they do make adapters...

bfurches 10-16-2007 10:37 AM

never mind guys. i found that 3 of the 5 manifold bolts had come free (how??? I dont friggin now, they were all torqued and have been fine for the past 6 months)...

in other words the manifold is fine.

Anyways, im parting all my turbo ____ out for now. I put the car back to stock last night and im gunna start working on my buick.

EasysBox 10-16-2007 01:58 PM

buick... as in L67?

bfurches 10-16-2007 06:32 PM

buick as in 3.8 tubro :)

ive got a riviera

EasysBox 10-17-2007 12:22 AM

nice, i use to have a l67 GP... those 3.8s are bullet proof.

bfurches 10-17-2007 01:32 PM

yea, i had a 3.8 monte w/ an hptuners setup.

EasysBox 10-17-2007 02:16 PM

nice, talk about balls off the line ;) it was so hard making the change to the box, but with the GReddy sc on there it isnt as bad, but it will never feel like my GP did off the line.

BURBERRYXA05 10-17-2007 07:50 PM

JSosa 10-18-2007 07:56 PM
