I'm pretty sure that it will fit, but call Dom to make sure.

Which battery are you running? Also, have you upgraded all the ground wires? I have a 2 gauge going from the battery to the stock ground on the radiator support, as well as one from the top alternator bolt to another stock ground point. I also used a 2 gauge from the batt to the ground bolt on the transmission where the factory ground wire goes just under the battery. I think the weak point for the xB is grounds. I am running an Optima Red Top and with everything stock but the battery and it helped alot. One last question...what size wire did you use to go from the alternator to the battery. You are gonna need at least 2 gauge, but preferably 1/0. Did you use the smaller pulley that came with the alternator? It is an overdrive pulley and makes the alt spin faster at lower RPM's.

i got a 175 amp DENSO from h-o-alternator.com

its been awesome so far and it bolts on to the stock housing

all they do is alternators and they said anything over 175amp puts too much strain on the engine?????

I am running an Orion 1200D and an Orion 4004, both amps together draw quite a bit of current. I have absolutely no headlight dimming with my alt. You gotta keep in mind that you may be drawing more than your alt can put out even though it's an HO alt.

What may help you significantly is to run a second battery in the rear next to the amps. The alt is more than capable of charging two batteries. Also, you way want to upgrade the power wire going from the battery to the amps. If you are running 2 gauge then I would focus on trying to get another battery back there.

i have the 175 H-O-Alternator.com ALT and:

2 runs of 0 Gauge
0 gauge to alternator
2 batcap 800 batteries under the hoof
1 batcap 400 in the rear
1 6 farad cap for my PG MS 1000
rockford bd3000x1

i am at 14.4 volts in the REAR and never go below 13 under heavy bass

its all in the alternator

I didn't think that 0 gauge would make that big of a differenc, but awesome to hear...I may be doing it soon now...hehe.

Sure, just go to caraudioforum.com and type in Iraggi Alternators, his info is there. I am at a library right now so I don't have all that info on me.
