Default 2005 xB - installed a Double DIN stereo, looking for dash kit to cover the gaps

I just installed a Pioneer FH-S700Bs radio in my 2005 xB. There is now a gap on the top, bottom, and sides of the unit. Every dash kit I see only covers the side gaps, not the top and bottom. Is there a dash kit that goes all the way around to cover the gaps?

Have you tried looking around the Crutchfield site? If you can't find one there I'm guessing you're likely going to have to get creative and 'fab' something for the top and bottom gaps.

I recently bought a head unit from Amazon that I didn't like, returned it. I figured why not add a tablet, Amazon had a sale for the Fire 8 HD with 16GB of storage.
I ended up going with that then buying a Bluetooth at five below and connecting it to the Aux port. The sound is great and I'm able to use Spotify, iHeart radio and
all the others. You can also get CarWebGuru Launcher for it to function like a head unit.

Sounds like a nice setup...can you post some pictures of it?

Before

Bracket bought from Home Depot

Bracket with velcro with the bracket inserted in the side of the radio

Velcro on the back of the Amazon Fire 8 HD

Bluetooth bought at Five Below for $5 which plugs in to the aux port in center console

Fire 8 HD installed on the bracket and connect to bluetooth and mobile Hotspot on phone. Used CarWebLauncher but now just use the apps. I keep the radio volume at 60 and control the volume from the tablet.
