Default Fiberglass speaker pods

i was bored one weekend and started putting together some fiberglass and fabric and came up with 4" speaker pods

wrapped in marine grade vinyl, dnt mind the Fusion, i already blew both speakers (no surprise there)

i plan on 4" two-way Alpine type-s speakers when i have the spare $70

not to mention the lack of sonic benefit of loading them and directing them that way.... I would put them back in the dash..unless you just like the look

it wasnt much work at all, each pod was done in about an hour

as far as the sound quality, i have 4" speakers with a swivel tweeter, and aimed directly at the driver it sounds good.

i didnt think to take any build pics, but i took the stock grilles and i put some 1/8th inch wood and angled it in a direction, and then i put fleece over it, stretched it, and fiberglassed it once.

sanded and then used marine grade vinyl over it

So the bottom panel is basically the stock plastic grill? Interesting. Good fit, anyway ;)
