Default alarm w/ window roll up module...

i decided that the next item i will purchase for my tc will be a descent alarm. i've narrowed it down to the CLIFFORD MATRIX RSX 3.5 or the VIPER 791XV. anyone had any expierence with these alarms? what was good/bad about them? i would really like to have a window roll up module with the alarm. i was curious if there is a certain brand of window roll up modules that is better than the other? thanks for your help.

Those 2 alarms are basically the same. Different looking remotes, led's and siren is about it. They both carry the limited lifetime warranty. I say figure out what remote you like better and get that one. I have 2 530t window modules and they work great. Up, down and crack control. Also gives you one touch control.

About how much does it cost to add window controls (2) onto a viper alarm?

Or at least, how much did the whole package cost you?

I am a dealer for both and I did my own install so it did not cost me much. The alarm usually goes for $500-$700 installed and the windows from about $100. I would also recommend a backup battery siren, part 515r. That way if the thief disables power or cuts the siren wire, the siren will still sound. Find a place in your area that does good clean installs. Stay away from wiring you can see and scotch locks and t-taps. You will end up having problems in the long run.
