Bazooka hookup question
Hi All,
In my 06 xB I needed some more noise. So I got a bazooka BTA6100....too old for boom, but tired of stock.
It has the built in 100w. I have I got it off amazon and I got the extension cable and universal fast harness....
In theory the universal harness piggy backs the 12v, power antenna (remote), and the front right and left speakers by using a pierce/screw down clip.
Just match the colors on the universal to colors on the blue clip, plug into the extension, run the cable to the back, ground it and plug it into the sub.
I did this and got no power. Removed the clip from the power antenna and put it on 12v also and still got no power. All other speakers work fine.
Tried a different ground, still nothing.
Any thoughts?

Not sure what you did wrong.
This is a guide from Crutchfield website regarding the FAST connection.
Maybe you matched the universal color wires to the wrong color wires on the OEM harness? You can search up what colors of the OEM harness represents what. Clubxb audio DIY section has it I believe. Goodluck.

I had the same issue when I was hooking up my L-O-C for my subs. I had wires wrong, I searched the forum and I found this.

Use this to make sure you hooked it up to the right wires.

Have you tried to test in on " the bench" get a separate power source out side the car and see if it turns on then, if it does. Then in the car you need to find a good solid ground and make sure to get the 12v direct from the battery and get an accy source from the radio.
