Best way to wire Halos to be parking lights and turn signals?

I got it working by wiring them with the sidemarker but it ended up failing.

The Halos look awesome when part of the turn signal. So what should I splice into?

why did it fail?

you can locate the fuse box and pick up a fuse tap from autozone or and tap into it that way. the fuse tap will have a wire come out of it and you pretty put this in the place of the fuse for the turn signals. it will have a wire coming out of it that you can use to power your halo's. you will still need the fuse you took out

here is what it looks like

I've used add-a-fuses before.

I don't know why it worked but stopped working. I've caused some odd things to happen, (rear signals to come on with parking lights, rear sidemarkers to blink with turn signals, Headunit to dim when key from Acc to On) I got everything working, with solid connections so I don't think a broken connection is the reason.

I wired the Halos to the sidemarkers, which I already have rewired to be on with the headlight switch. I tested them first before fully hooking them up, but I think I was tapping into two power wires or something. I did get them to work, to stay on but blink with the turn signals.

So I can get power from the turn signal fuse, but where to get ground?

Ground can be had from almost anywhere in the car.

There's my setup I originally did. It seems to work again. I'll see how long it lasts.
