Default A/C quandry

Guys/Gals,

First time post, sorry its a question... but I need some guidance on an AC issue I am having. 2006 Scion xA completely stock car. AC blows cold, but it blows weakly. It does not change speed at any of the settings, it just seem to be on the lowest setting possible.

Sounds like the resistor block, right? That is where I started and so I just put a new one in as it had the original one, and at 100K miles. I considered it preventative at this point.

Is there something in the actual dial switch that I should be checking out? I have been searching the forums and have seen mention of the "AC relay" but I have checked my fuse boxes and there is no relay block (empty) which I also read is normal...

Fan works, as I checked voltage into the fan at the harness. It's not a variable speed fan is it? I assumed the resistor block controlled fan speed and that if the fan spins up, the fan should be good.

Anyone have any experience with the actual dial switch? That is what I suspect currently.

I would appreciate any and all advice. Thanks for your time.
