Default Can you recommend a Shift **** for Manual xB?

Hey folks-

Need some of your opinions on shift ***** on the xB. I'm kinda not getting use to the stock one. It almost feels like a Trooper ****

Any opinions on the TRD shift **** as seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/TRD-Type-2-Leath...QQcmdZViewItem or any others out there that you guys recommend?

Thanks

I don't have a recommendation because I personally prefer the stock ****.

BUT

I do NOT recommend the OBX **** from the dealer. I received one as a birthday gift and the chrome was peeling off of the thing right out of the box...my little brother who got it for me was more bummed than I was that I didn't install the new ****.

I like the feel of the TRD one......fits perfect....the OBX one is junk.....doesn't fit the chrome ring right....leaves and ugly gap and it's base is too skinny.

So the "feel of the TRD" one is just like stock or is it something more ? Its about $70 more than stock in my eyes.

Take a look at these ***** from Greddy...

http://www.ptuning.com/html/search-r...B&cmbBrand=gre

Of those, my preference would be the "Counter Weight" shift ****. Very reasonable pricing as well.

You can also take a look at the TWM shift *****. Pretty spendy, but very nice.

It's leather and a little smaller than the stock one.......the ebay listing is in aussie dollars.....lol. leather feels nice compared to rubber......you can get it cheaper at TRDsparks I think. Good luck on your choice.

What does fitting the chrome ring mean? These TRD shifter pictures don't show the chrome ring:

Plastic insert with 3 set screws. It holds very tight. I'll post a pic later.

A hint for those that don't know... the crome bezel is reversible. It can be either a flat ring or a tapered cone.

If you live where it is going to be cold soon, metal ***** can be uncomfortable. I just put the stock **** back on until springtime. I find the stock **** has a nice feel.
