Custom Rear Door Speakers

This is what I did to my rear doors. I cut an templet out of wood, cut the whole for the speakers then wrapped it in the oem fabric. At first i was just going to put covers on the speakers, but then i came by some of the oem fabric, so i just wrapped the whole thing.

I was luck about the oem fabric. My friend just re-did his xB, and he said that I could have his oem seat covers.

Good job !!
I've been waiting for someone to do a rear door speaker mod. Now you can use a JDM hard rear cargo cover and still have good tunes.

I tried one myself, and with a metal door support behind there, only a 4" inch round speaker will fit in that area. I'm still looking for a 4" inch component speaker set that might work in that area. Any ideas anyone??

Building a stand-off template was a good idea.
