E-Brake Dash Light

E-Brake Dash Light
1st Gen xB E-brake switch ($80) was replaced as the cause of the dash light. The switch heads straight to ground when the brake is activated, turning the light on the dash (NO).
However it does not extinguish when the brake is released. I need to chase the ground connection to see if the power is grounding the circuit switch or not.
Any ideas?

Based upon your other post in regards to the LR ABS sensor being bad this could be the cause of your problems...one other post I found indicated a disconnected ABS wire caused the light to stay on.
ABS Issues Causing Brake Light to Stay On
The other common cause has been low brake fluid.
I'd start with the obvious and easy things first before diving into troubleshooting electrical, which is never any fun.
