You DONT have to take the dash apart
You ahve to take the glove box out, pull out the brain, and there are 4-5 screws, a couple of which are hard to get to. Look for the online manual but dont do everything in the procedure, i.e. dont unhook the AC lines. It's been a while since I did it but I was able to replace the blower. I ended up having to pull it down and had to shove things around to get it out/in. Also in the manual check the troubleshooting procedure, there's a resistor that gives us the different speeds and it can go out too.
