I don't know if its the 120 degree heat that, after 8 years, is finally getting to my car but the horn just won't shut the ____ up!

Today is was at times intermittent, but, I just had to disconnect my battery when it wouldn't stop. After it was driven and parked, it was fine, but then after sitting in the driveway for an hour it just lost its mind. I popped the hood and smelled what, I believe, was that smell you get when something electronic or electrical has been overheated.

I am going to pull the horn relay for now, but I am curious if anyone here has had any experience with this before. Today was the first time this has happened.
