Default Lights out on Automatic Gear Shift?

Hi,

I have a 2005 Xa with an automatic gear shift. The lights (R, P, D, N, etc...) are out. Sometimes they come on for a few seconds and then go back out so I think the bulb may be loose. I have found topics detailing how to remove the shift plate for the Tc but haven't had any luck finding out how to remove this for the Xa so I can tighten the bulb or change it if I need to. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Are you talking about the one on the dash, or the one on the console/shifter?

If it's the shifter, it's just a bulb... I gotta verify what size it is.

Okay, here's the steps for changing out the bulb on an xB... xA steps should be almost the same, except for the console removal.

Here's a pic of my shifter now.

Way better, IMO.

Not sure how much help this is but I made a guide awhile back on how to remove the center console in my 06 xA. It has pictures so maybe it will help a little:

So, I thought I'd update this thread.
My LED started tweaking last night. It's flickering and strobing. I might get a new one and see if it's just the LED going bad, although, I might just leave it out. I don't NEED that to be illuminated.

Sure is a shame that all the links for how to's on this page are dead. Who's going around deleting the tutorials?
