Ok, I searched around for it but I found the answer I am looking for, so here goes. I want to change the side marker lights on the mirror to white leds, I know the number of the bulb, but I here that the stock bulb already there is a clear bulb.

Is there a yellow piece inside the mirror which produces the amber color for the turn signal and if so how can I replace it to make it white with a white led.

There are no colored plastic inside the housing...just colored LEDs. Heres the FAQ on how to change them.
