Need interface for sirius to xm, fellow CC guys help please!
Ok, here's the situation. I am getting a Pioneer Avic-n1. I have a Pioneer XM tuner and a Kenwood Sirius Tuner. Given the choices I would rather use Sirius. I have had both in the past and prefer Sirius over XM with the music I listen to. I remember a co-worker of mine having a Blitzsafe piece that allowed him to work his Kenwood radio with his XM pioneer tuner so I wonder if they make one that does the opposite. I want a direct connection, not a fm mod, or an aux input adapter (because then I would still need the controller display). His Blitzsafe adapter allowed all the xm text to display on his kenwood radio and have his radio control the tuner. I want something like that, that will allow my Avic-n1 to control my kenwood tuner.

Sorry man, no go yet. Youll be waiting a bit, sirius rep is saying within the next 6 months. Youll likely have to replace the tuner also. It'll be something like the XM Direct Tuner, where you get the box, and then theyll have various conectors for it. You getting in on that sweet deal for that pioneer?

You know it, I was gonna find a kenwood Monitor online since I am very happy with my older Kenwood KVT910DVD in my Protege 5. I got it before we stopped carrying Excelon through accomodations and love it. I wanted another Kenwood since I love Sirius but couldn't pass up the deal on the Avic-n1.
