New HVAC lighting. 5 minute mod for only $7!
Autolumination just released the Super Star Neo-Wedge LED. They said it's 30% brighter than their standard neos.
I ordered a pair to see what the difference was. Believe me, this mod is well worth the $7. The super stars have a wider dispersion so there;s less of a hotspot, they are also significantly brighter.
New on left, old on right.
All lit up.
If you haven't gotten rid of that nasty amber in the HVAC already, get on this!

Half way down the page. You want the Super Star Neo Wedge in type B (10mm) They're $3.49 each.
I had the $2.99 ones before (the ones on the right in the comparison pic) and they had some bad hotspots. The new ones don't have a lens on it, so it's a pretty wide throw.

Any shots of the console from a few inches back to get the "white lighting" effect
I've been wanting to dump the amber... umm forever just haven't done it
But rather do the new console with white lighting all in one shot.
Thanks (AS ALWAYS)

Yea, the color isn't as vibrant... I was thinking about maybe putting some theatrical lighting gel behind the red and blue section...
I have a pic that's farther away. It's on my laptop at home. I'll post it this evening.
