Question about stock radio
 

I have the stock 6 disc mp3 cd player. Right now i'm getting "Error 4" and can't get the CD's out. This has happened before, but usually fixes itself by the time i get in my car again. Now it's not doing that. Does anyone know how i can fix it?

I believe there is a TSB on that error. You might want to go to your dealer and get the HU replaced

it maybe the brand of CD that you are using. The ones that almost never fails are Taiyo Yuden or Ritek/Ridata cd's. You can get these online at www.newegg.com. I shop there all the time when I build computers.

P.S. Sony buys cds from Ritek and rebrands them, and they buy Lite-On cd-burners and rebrands them :!:

yup have the headunit replaced.. lots of people tried a lot of different brands of blank cd's.. to no avail.. get the dealer to give you another, and watch how it works fine..
