rear wiper hole xB

ok seriously does anyone have any other ideas for the rear wiper or removing the wiper motor and doing something else other than a camera? The wiper is pretty much useless so what to do?

i removed my 3rd brake light. then put a new one where the wiper was.

I put a 23mm Toyota Hole Plug in mine. Keeps the water out nicely and cost $.87 I might do something better later like a death ray or laser beam but for now its fine.

We haven't had any rain since Mrs. Scion got her xB a week ago, but why do you say the wiper is useless? We surely liked them on our minivans, and on my Tercel wagon years ago

You'll understand when it rains. My rear window stays really clean, I have no idea why I haven't gotten rid of my wiper yet.

Well, that's different! Unnecessary, not useless :P

Rear wiper

Take a drive on the interstate when its raining and it will become obvious why the rear wiper is useless. ! It really doesnt do much but smear whatever road grime is on the rear glass.

for a great Idea, go to Elegance_xB...or somthing like that, he had a featured ride, the one with the 32" plasma in the back...well anyway, he put a corolla keylock in it, non functional, but it looks better than the wiper.

I used the quater mod that people have posted up on the boards. I haven't had any problems with leaks and it has rained a lot since I have done the mod back in Sept.
