Default Sirius Install

I got my xB over a week ago with having factory install Sat. Radio. I figured I could by the Sirius adaptor and plug and play? Has anyone done this? Where is a good place to get the right adaptor and how do I pull out the stereo? Thanks Brent

i would recomend go to your local audio shop and ask them for the siruis plug, and to remove the radio...first you need to remove the AC controls, 2 pull the grey plastic towards you and that should do it, them removed the 4 screws holding the radio.

I'm trying to decipher exactly what you're asking here....

You have a 2006 xB with satellite ready pioneer stock head unit and you want to know how to install sirius?

You have two options, plug and play with fm modulator(which you can hard wire, if you're smart) or a Sirius tuner.

The sirius tuner for the stock pioneer unit is rediculously expensive and you would probably want someone to proffesionally install it for you. I wouldn't suggest this format because if you care about sound you'll probably want to upgrade the head unit anyway. The display isn't big enough for the satellite info anyway, for all practical and easy use this is not the way to go.

Personally I would get a nice plug and play, like the S50 and have it hardwired to the antenna.
