not sure what an Xbox pulls in terms of wattage but i can't see it using more than 100 watts.. check out radio shack.. have an inverter from them.. works great since 1997..

Monster Cable makes a real good inverter. they tend to be a little more pricey but there is no noise with the Xbox.

go to www.compgeeks.com they have a little silver and blue inverter that works great, it will handle upto 130 watts I think, and it's less than $20. I've been using one for a while and have been very pleased. if you type slickdeals in the coupon line you might get an extra 10% off

ok, here is a twist, what about an inverter that goes from 110 to 12vdc? Like, for car shows, like hot import nights, where you have to disconnect your battery, but you still want your stereo to work, or your interior lights...?? Where can I find one of them?

Sams Club has one that is 500W for about 27 bucks. Comes with a carry case, etc. I use one to drive telescopes and laptops at the same time.

Astron makes killer power supplies. also if you check a distributor that sells Metra products (people who make the kits/harneses for vehicles) they have a couple of power supplies in their "Install Bay" line.
