Umm, I am in the East Coast too!! Bought mine in early Feb 04. Been sitting at Newark since probably Late November 03. Maybe you got the unit without the "I eat CD's" syndrome. Hhmm, time to call Customer Service hahaha.J/k, maybe :twisted:

if that is the case I want mine to say "My Pimp Box." or "Boxy 4 Life" "Honda Element"

newark eh? maybe they did run out of 04 cd players i just got mine on saturday so it might be an 05 OOOOOOOOR they could've messed up? idk it's cool though of course i have to have sappy "jeff and dez" crap on there psycho girlfriend <shakes head> oh well

I read the instructions quite carefully and followed them to the "t"...

I cannot make it work...cannot even get the center line to blink...

weird

someone call the SCION customer service number and ask...

model numbers! what is everyone's model numbers (especially the folks who have been successful in editing the text)? My single disc is T1801. The model number in the diagram (in the scan) says T1804... sigh

i just finished chatting with a scion rep on Scion.com...and she said that there is no way to make this happen...soo i'm not sure what to think....but i'm still gonna try it on my box...

what's the model number of your headunit? It's located on the bottom right corner of the headunit. It starts with T.
