Default Underglow question

I recently installed the ULS410BL system from varad and I was wondering if I can get the system to blink when I lock or unlock my car from the RKS. I know to use the orange aux cable, but where can I tap in???

i could guess.... but thinking thru my answer... you'd probably have your UL's light up each time you put your turn signals on or hazzards....

but i think somewhere along that area is correct...lol

Talk to Randy at www.randode.com and he will tell you the easiest way to run them so they flash. The hardest part though is the fact that you have a switch to turn the lights on but how to get mini power to lights when locking and unlocking vehicle nut light switch is off!

No, the UL's hook up to the battery and there is another yellow wire that will allow me to control the lights with the remote when the Ignition or ACC is on.

i would use the orange wire as trigger for a relay to operate the underbody. its pretty easy.

Where would you connect the orange wire to come on and off with the dome light?

door pin/dome light supervision

or for just the lock and unlock, try the lock and unlock wires for the door, located in the kick panel to the left, catch is, one is positive trigger, the other negitive, so you would require a relay for the negitive trigger to make it positive.

Ahh, because the dome light is negative trigger... excellent!
