finally got the ***** to do a lil bit to my xA over the weekend and I think it came out alright, givin' 'm a newbie and all compared to you guys. talkin' about installing my dash monitor, flipdown monitor and a couple of cameras placed up front and rear..

great job. so did you do it or another place? how did they mount the flip-down? wood or metal?

 

I did everything, messes and all by myself I don't have the mula to have somebody do it..I pretty much look through posts here and there, search around for info on the internet, harden my ***** and hope things turn alright. Anyway for the flipdown monitor I used a 1/2" thick wood, L and W same as my mounting bracket and I just bonded it to the roof..

 

what sony flip down monitor is that?... it looks ike a black version of the Dream system one id love the model # thanks

camera up front views the rear passengers, the other one views the back, I placed it inside the 3rd brake light housing, tucked the wirings..can't even tell it's there....

will post pics if u guys want to see how I did it..just let me know...

per request:

REAR CAM SET-UP rewired by rear domelights and had it working with the front. used the rear domelight switch to turn the the rear cam power on and off.
DASH MONITOR DAYTIME PIC for those interested i've measured this and u can fit up to 9" monitor on an xA w/ some bezel cutting of course ..10" and over would be pushing it since it' going to involve nicking the slots for the air vents...
