xB 03-07 radio interchangability ?

I have searched here , all seem to say head units will interchange , but my 01-06 box has a 5 plug head unit
and the ones I looked at in Part yard are 4 plug ( actually 4 and 3 but the head units have 5 and 4 female sockets )

is is there a work around ?
