1 inch drop, springs only?
Im wanting to drop my xA just an inch, can I just buy springs and get an alignment or do i need to replace the shocks for only a 1" drop? Im on 15inch rims and stock tire size

look for tanabe nf210s or eibachs prokit. they are springs. for a 1 inch drop i don't think your alignment will change that much. i wouldn't get it unless i got new wheels, but it's totally up to you.

You don't need to replace your shocks at all. However, it is an xA, which are quite old, so I would assume shocks will need to be replaced soon regardless, but if they are fine now and you can't afford new ones (they are very very cheap) then I'd just throw the springs on until a shock blows. As far as alignment goes, I would have hoped that itscurtsk would have advised you to be he didn't Anytime you are jacking with your suspension, you need an alignment, especially if you are adjusting something such as ride height. Put the springs on, wait a week, then get an alignment. You will need one.
