2004 xB Brake Pad Wear Sensor Inner or Outer Side?
Hello all.... I need to know if the front pad's brake wear sensor pad on a 2004 xB installs on the inner side (caliper piston side) or outside facing you....I installed them on the inner side of each wheel....Is that correct?
Reason I ask is the pads were really down to nothing and not squealing; in my haste I forgot to notice how the other previous set was installed.
Thanks in advance...John

Thanks....I'll check it out when I get a chance. From what I've read, found out, would make sense to put pad sensor on the inner, caliper piston side...if piston got stuck, that side would wear out prematurely and squeal, as opposed to putting on outer side.
