*UPDATED* pics on pg. 4 *UPDATED*

Alright guys here it is. I finally had time tonight to take the time to resize all these pics and write up a little something for you guys. Since so many people are in the dark about this, ever so mysterious, air ride setup, i figured i would shed some light on this topic. :) First off I want to say thanks to:

#1.Brad (Squirrel) Without him i would have never been able to hook up with AutoFashion in San Diego. Brad's an incredible dude! Thanks Brad and to 886Motorwerx!!!!!!

#2 Autofashion in San Diego, Thanks to Freddie, Melvin, Elroy and to all the cool guys that run that shop. You guys are awesome! VIP!!!

OK enough of that and on with the photos. :)

This kit is incredible. I was completely blown away when i had unwrapped everything and took it all out of the boxes. The kit comes in 3 seperate boxes. All i have to say is Air runner is very meticulous about everything. They supply every single thing you could possibly need. From zip ties to hose cutters. They supply this handy *JDM* (hahah) hose cutter to make sure the air lines are cut straight so they sit evenly on the W-lock fitting. I was just blown away by the attention to detail of the kit.

The Shocks are KYB Shocks all around. The rears are special Short stroke shocks made by Lowfer Sports by KYB. They use firestone bags up front and for the rears. The compressor is a firestone compressor also. It comes with a 5 gallon tank and a nice little plate where the tank, compressor and relay are bolted down to.

The welding on every bracket is perfect. As you can see in the pics the welding on the front struts is incredible. Even the paint on the front struts is some crazy Pearl yellow color. It looks just like Lamborghini Yellow. The quality is seriously dead on with this kit. There was no drilling required for anything. It is a complete 100% bolt on Air ride kit.

They supply the 4 switches and 2 dual needle gauges that are bolted on to 2 seperate panels. I will get pics of that later. There are even detailed instructions specifically made for the xB with pictures. Each kit is hand assembled and has its own serial number. :) The front struts and rear bracketry are all made and assembled in Japan.

That pretty much sums it all up but if anyone has questions please let me know. I will get pics of how low the car sits this weekend. It'll be at Scionnight 2. :) Thanks guys. The last pic is my bBOX Getting all "Dynamat'd" up for soundproofing. I hate road noise. :)

joescionwv 09-15-2005 01:16 PM

yes price and how hard to install?

FrankenScion 09-15-2005 01:20 PM

I'm looking forward to seeing how low it will go and how much travel it will have.

Sittin_Pretti_Box 09-15-2005 02:12 PM

Looks like any other setup except for the front struts. They look good, but thats all I can see what would make this kit so expensive.

squirrel 09-15-2005 02:14 PM

Mark,

YOU'RE WELCOME! I can't wait to see it in person.

mal75 09-15-2005 02:59 PM

Price?

Spider13 09-15-2005 04:11 PM

How long does it take to lift? Looks like 1/4 or 1/8 airline, it aught to be nice and slow. My 1/2 is way to damn fast.

sexyscionlover 09-15-2005 04:15 PM

I believe you can get it from AutoFashion for 3100, although I'm not sure what Mark got it for. He mighta got it cheaper.

Cant wait to see pics of this thing installed bBoxd

Wow, Thanks guys. :)

Yes the kit sells for $3100 retail from Autofashion.

Install was very very simple. It took myself and 2 other friends about 6 hours to do everything. Complete bolt on. This was my first time installing bags and we did not run into any snags or anything. Thanks to the completeness of the kit.

The kit uses 1/4" lines. It goes down nice and slow. :) But to lift it up its quick. It goes up much faster then it goes down which is nice.

My bBOX doesnt get as low as others on the forum because of my wheel setup. It gets low enough to where the fenders are sitting on the tire and almost on the rim. :) Its just where i wanted them. Im sure if i was running some narrow 40 offset wheels i could tuck those easily. Thanks again guys. Ill see some of you tommorrow. :)
