Damn Springs

Right now my box is stock and I want to lower it so bad but I still trying to choose the right spring.
For awhile I was going to get Goldlines, then I heard that it doesn't lower the front as much. Having a stereo system in the back it might not look so even.

Then I heard tanabe's were a perfect drop, but the ride is not so good. Having a daily driver I need a good ride.

Then there's the Tein S-tech, I haven't heard so much about these but the drop is not what I'm looking for.

There's Eibach, which I heard are really stiff and not that much of a drop.

I'm looking for a nice 2" drop with a good ride for my box. Oh I'm also on 19s so hopefully theres no rubbing issues.

Then there's air ride, I've been debating on getting this done, but I've done it on my truck and I really do not want to deal with it again, but if I have to so I can find a good ride height with a good ride I will.

Help

Eibach springs are pricey. But If I could afford them, I would get those.

I heard the Eibach springs are really stiff. A friend had them on her TL and she said the ride was stiff but cornering was better

How are the tanabes?

if u want a soft ride then air is the way to go. but if you want handling as well...then you are gonna have to sacrifice that plush ride. i have tanabe df210's on 225/35/19 and the ride is stiff. i like it though, since it corners well. goldlines will give you a raked look. there is a thread on tanabe's thats a sticky. also there is a thread debating on goldlines vs tanabe. there is the easystreet air suspension kit out and also the eai kit. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45604

Hotchkis

Last week I installed a set of Hotchkis Springs and Sway Bars. Right off the bat, I got almost and inch and a half drop. It should settle more over the next couple of weeks. As far as the ride goes, I don't feel that it is much different than the stock as far as stiffness goes. The sway bars are a great add on too. It is a lot more fun to drive. :eyebrow:
