Default Energy Coil Spring Isolators?

I thought I remember someone mentioning that they were going to try these but I can't find that thread.
I wonder how well they work - if they affect the ride or handling in any positive (or negative) way.
And, most importantly - which size to get!
I have done the Energy end-link bushings and LOVE that mod. I wondered if this mod would be beneficial too.

These replace the stock rubber pieces on the top and bottom of the rear springs.
They would be less prone to rot for one thing.
But I do not know if they would provide for softer ride - or a stiffer (sportier) one.
I seem to remember someone mentioning that it raises the car a bit which goes against the aim of many here. I assume that would be because they are thicker than the stock rubber. But if it was raised by just a hair it wouldn't be bad.
Here is the Energy Suspension website:
http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/sboots.html
What I am talking about is below the shock boots.
It does mention that they do not "adversely" affect the ride - but it doesn't say that it doesn't affect it at all.

I don't really see that doing much at all. The main point of the rubber in back is for noise. Don't want the spring rubbing directly on the arm, that would be annoying.

my rubbers out back are ok, i inspected them the other day when i was under the box doing some service.. once they start to get ripped and cracky, i'll probly change them out with these, but really no need to do it now...

now if i can just pin down my noise in the front end.....

What you say makes a lot of sense. Seems obvious now. I guess it makes sense to get them if the originals wear out and you also plan on keeping the xA/xB for quite a while (which I do!).

Any more info? Product numbers? I'm looking at replacing mine and was wondering if it would be worth it to use these or just go with the oem toyota. If you have any recommendations on replacement parts that are better or more durable, please let me know. Thanks!
