Default Its official, back2back spring installs

Yup, I knocked out two more spring installs last night. Back2back. I'm a little tired today, but this brings my spring install total up to 7. If anyone else would like to get their springs installed, I'm available any night this week. I perform this service FREE for Team Scion West Members, and only $40 for non-members. PM or e-mail me for an appointment.

The first one i did (my wifes car) took about 1.5 hours. But that was taking my time, cleaning, painting, etc. Now I can do the a whole car in 35 minutes if I dont B.S.

Default THE XA drop?

I was wondering if you have done the drop on a XA? Which springs give the lowest drop and what was the ride like after the install?

Hey Randy...when you install springs (SPY) do you cut the bumpstops?

I ask because they are ____ing me off right now with the front higher than the rear...and I'm wondering is this the case with all the SPY setups thatyou've seen..?

Will cutting the stops lower the front more?

Cutting the bump stops has nothing to do with how the stance of your car sits when its not moving. All bumps stops do is to prevent the shaft from bottoming out on the struts. I personally cut mine just from experience with Hondas.

Cutting them gives me that little extra travel.
